Monday

I’ve been seeing lots of different doctors lately.  My latest was extremely young- pretty cute and knows her way around a fetal heartbeat detector.  My older doctor was very kind about us using the equipment.  I figure we’re about to pay them a looooot of money this week and are due a little play time.

If you find yourself needing a mechanic, Ry will be happy to assist you… but only when she’s not seeing patients.  She loves to wrench on her race car and is hoping Dan’s Auto Care (my dad’s shop) will save her a spot on the working floor.  She’d answer phones, but her message-taking is a little rough.

Ry is also rockin’ the potty training.  We’re at a good place, I think.  Not 100%, but good.  Kid has a bladder of steel.  She stays dry when she’s in undies and goes if you remind her OR if she’s sleeping in a pullup.  I expect a little baby-transition-trouble… but with our current slow-but-steady method I think we’re ok.  She can put her own clothes on, which I love.  Sometimes we run into some problems.  I dare to say these ‘tucking’ issues are, ahem, hereditary.

You all know this, but I’ll be at St. Mary’s this Thursday. I’m the first on the list: 7:30AM and then I’ll be in recovery for a bit.  If all goes well, I shall be released Sunday afternoon on my honor.  If you’d like to come visit Friday or Saturday, oh my word, please do.  I have no pride.  Bring me a chocolate milkshake. My folks will be here all next week, so I’ll have lots of help.  Feel free to stop on out then, too.  We’d love it.

SuperKid’s announcement will be up on the blog and facebook as soon as I am coherent, unless The Boy gets there first.  If so, I apologize for any extremely vague information  or inappropriate pictures you may see without my consent.

Think good thoughts!  See you on the other side!!!

Seth’s ready to perform his baby whispering magic, Lyd’s can’t wait to see if it’s a boy or a girl, Hannah would like to name him River if he’s a boy and Rainbow Pony if she’s a girl, and Abbi would like to rock him to sleep….

We all are so ready to meet Superkid!!!

that’s 2:30 in the afternoon here – you better believe I’ll be praying and dreaming of you all day long – and every day till then – and most of the days after then too.

You know… I just thought of something. I’m going to have to wait longer than anyone else to hear about Superkid!! It will be at least dark out here – while everyone else will potentially know by tea time. (a little pout). SO thankful for internet right about now.
