Baloo

Baloo is here!  Blue is here!  Hullabaloo is here!

We’re all here.

We left Texas at 8:30pm Thursday.  We hit Hannibal, MO at 9:30am Friday morning and grabbed Blue.  We pulled in to TexasNorth, MI at 7:30pm Friday.   The captives in the back seats were restless and threatened mutiny from, oh, Gary, Indiana to our driveway.  I was busy with the hurricane rain and wind, so I sent the gentler parent back there with a bag of skittles and peanut m&ms. We made it home tear-stained and skeptical of one another, but we made it home.

Sweet Blue is doing fabulously and  acts as if she has been here all her life.  That is to say: she is regularly happy, calm, and frantic.  We are obviously the perfect family for her.

Dude.  She is the only one of us handling the return to Michigan with any kind of grace.

Pray for us.  Pray for the people who encounter us this week, that we may not cause them to stray from the good things in life… like sanity.  Every person in this house except Abby June is on a leash until further notice.  An actual leash.

Sit.

Rest.

REST.

back in better form Thursday…
